Since 2004, Vemma has been manufacturing and distributing health and nutrition products around the globe. Vemma are a privately held multi-level marketing company that sells energy drinks, nutritional beverages as well as weight management products.

I always find it fascinating when I get asked by people whether or not an MLM company’s home business opportunity is a scam.

When it comes to Vemma, the answer is definitely not. At this point, before I continue with this article, I must state that I am not in any way affiliated with Vemma. I have never sponsored anyone into a Vemma downline and I have never been sponsored into someones Vemma downline. Also I don’t use any of the Vemma products. But, with over 20 years in business running a highly successful business and also having been involved in the MLM profession for about 25 years this gives me the ability to tell you things from experience that you wouldn’t necessarily see on the surface.

The ‘scam’ question is usually asked as a result of a lack of understanding of the legally approved (by the FTC) MLM business model in the US and confusing it with illegal Pyramid Scams. Unfortunately the people who don’t have an understanding of the law regarding the MLM model have not bothered to read about the legal case that happened in the later part of the 1970s in the United States. When you know this information and you then look at how the Vemma Nutrition model operates then you realise that they have a legitimate business opportunity.

All of their products are also tested with two independent, double blind, placebo-controlled studies — in order to demonstrate the benefits they provide for overall health and wellness. I have not used any of the Vemma products before but after finding out more about them I am now considering it.
